The 2nd edition of INDUSTRYSCAPE will be held in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi from 18-20 October 2009 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Most of the MEMEX & INDUSTRYSCAPE 08 exhibitors reported meeting a strong number of first-time customers and generated increased sales volumes specifically from Abu Dhabi and the wider region.

Eng. Saed Al Awadi, CEO of Dubai Export Development, said non-oil exports from companies in Dubai that are based outside the emirate's free zones had increased by 2% in the first half of 2009, compared to the same period last year, Khaleej Times has reported. |

Dafza records 48% revenue growth in H1 |

Dubai Airport Free Zone, or Dafza, said it has posted a 48 per cent growth in its revenues in the first half of 2009 compared to the same period a year earlier. "The achievement is a direct result of Dubai Government's balanced policies toward foreign investments," Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airport Free Zone, said in a statement. |
