Commercial and industrial real estate in the UAE is now undergoing a dramatic change as the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries are heavily investing in the expansion of industrial manufacturing. Most GCC countries are reducing economic dependence on oil and gas by setting up industrial zones to stimulate growth in manufacturing.

Industryscape, run by the organisers of Cityscape, the World's largest real estate show, will bring together international investors, developers, governments and investment authorities, leading architects, designers, consultants and professionals involved in the industrial, manufacturing and production real estate industry.

Run in conjunction with Industryscape is MEMEX 2008, the 2nd International Manufacturing and Production Exhibition. Launched in 2007, MEMEX has already firmly established itself as the preferred place for suppliers to the manufacturing and production industries to meet and do business with organisations either currently in the Middle East or plans to establish facilities in the region.
