Robust Ajman property sector set to boost tourism

Ajman's booming real estate market is likely to drive growth in the tourism industry of the United Arab Emirates' smallest member, experts forecast.
The state is experiencing an economic renaissance, buttressed by a prevalence of successful property development projects.
Ajman has announced a series of real estate and tourism infrastructure projects, including luxury resorts and hotels, marine projects and plans to renovate historic sites.
The new projects being planned are expected to cost in the region of AED 5.5 billion and also include developing a Heritage Village alongside Ajman museum.
Plans are also underway to develop and implement the GIS Base Map project for the Ajman, which will establish a precise geodetic network for the emirate.
Azad Nouri, general manager of the Ajman Marina project, said: "Ajman Marina is expected to have very positive impact on the real estate, commercial and tourism sectors in the emirate.
"The project includes a yacht club, residential towers that have a view of the Marina and the shores, restaurants, entertainment facilities, a large shopping mall, hotels and offices.
